I have never used infographics before but I find this tool really useful to present information in a very attractive and clear way.
This is my first infographic. I' m going to use it with my 2nd ESO students.

DIDACTIC EXPLOITATION OF IMAGES

With my 4th ESO students I do the following activity. I show them this web page: www.theobjective.com, which is an online newspaper but with more images than text. For each piece of news, there is a wonderful image, a headline and a really short text explaining the news. I ask them to choose a piece of news. I give them 10-15 minutes to prepare it (they can write down ideas or wors but not sentences). Finally, they explain it to their mates.

STORYTELLING

Here you've got an easy web-based tool for Digital Storytelling. I like Bubllr for 1st cycle ESO students because it's easy to use. They only have to choose how many strips they need, look for te pictures they want and add the bubbles.

Another interesting web-based tool is Animoto. I didn't know it but I tried to create a story. I would use this story as an example of what sutdents are asked to do: write a short story using past simple and past continuous. I would do this activity  with 2nd ESO students.

AN INTERESTING APP: VOICETHREAD

I have never used it but I will! 

It is a cloud application where you can create, upload, share and discuss (speaking or writing) documents, presentations, images, audio files and videos. What is really interesting is that you can comment any document, presentation… recording your voice, a video, by phone or upload an audio file.

APPS I USUALLY USE IN CLASS

I often use in my class:

- wordrefence online To look up words. I think it is one of the most reliable and easy to use.

- Audioboo: to record students.

- BBC (podcasts) They are really good to pracise listening.
